Grancari Estate Wines
Organic, vegan friendly wines - Final Weeks at the Market
After more than ten years of Sundays at the market, Rino has decided it’s time to step back from weekly trading. It hasn’t been an easy decision, but one made with a full heart. Rino is looking forward to slowing down, travelling back to Italy, and spending more time just living life.
Grancari Estate Wines has been part of the fabric of the market for a long time. Many of you will know Rino not just for his wines, but for the chats, the stories, and the familiar face behind the table each Sunday. He would like to say a genuine thank you to everyone who has supported him over the years and made the market feel like a community, not just a place to sell wine.
Grancari Estate is a small, certified organic vineyard in McLaren Vale, growing Grenache, Shiraz and Merlot from a single site first planted in the 1940s. Rino took over the vineyard in the 1980s and brought it back to life using traditional Italian know-how, careful hand work, and organic practices that let the vines do what they do best.
The wines are made simply and honestly, with care taken from vine to bottle. Nothing flashy, nothing overworked. The full range is organic and vegan friendly.
Rino’s final day at the market will be Sunday 22 February. If Grancari Estate Wines have ever been part of your Sunday shop, this is a good time to stop by, have a chat, and stock up.
You’ll find Rino inside the pavilion at the Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market for the next two Sundays.
