Ingredients
- 600gm cooked prawns, peeled, tail on
- 2tblspn vegetable oil
- 1tspn sesame oil
- 1tspn dried chilli flakes
- 4 garlic gloves, peeled and chopped finely
- 1tblspn grated ginger
- 2tblspn sriracha sauce
- 3tspn soy sauce
- 4tbslpn brown sugar
- 1/2cup water
- Juice of half a lime
- Sesame seeds and fresh chill to garnish
Make sure the cooked prawns are peeled and deveined. Leave the tail on.
In a medium non stick pan add the finely chopped garlic, grated ginger and chilli flakes along with both oils. Cook over medium heat until the garlic is nicely golden.
Add the water, soy sauce, sriracha and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens to resemble a syrup consistency then add the squeeze of lime juice.
Add the cooked prawns and cook over medium heat for 2mins to heat through and for the sauce to further reduce and thicken and coat the prawns.
Remove from pan and serve into bowls. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced red chilli.
Serve with rice or Asian greens.
