2026 Pollinator Photography Competition

Capture the pollinators behind our food

  • 2 Sep – 25 Oct 2026

Celebrating the pollinators behind our food

Pollinators play an incredibly important role in farming, biodiversity and the food we enjoy every day. This spring, the Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market is proud to support the Wheen Bee Foundation’s 2026 Pollinator Photography Competition as sponsor of the People’s Choice Prize.

The annual competition invites photographers of all ages and abilities to get outside, look a little closer and capture Australia’s incredible pollinators at work, from native bees and butterflies to beetles, flies, moths and other important species.

This year, there’s also a new video category, giving entrants the opportunity to capture pollinators in action.

With spring underway, it’s the perfect time to explore your garden, local park or neighbourhood and see what’s buzzing, fluttering and flying amongst the flowers.

Entries close Sunday 25 October 2026.

Find out more about the competition, view previous winning entries and submit your photographs or videos through the Wheen Bee Foundation.
