Visit the Market
There’s no better way to experience South Australia than by visiting the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market. Every Sunday morning, over 100 local farmers and producers gather to share what’s fresh, seasonal, and grown right here.
From orchard fruit and crisp vegetables to artisan bread, small-batch cheese, free-range eggs, and handmade treats — this is food with real provenance. Chat with the growers, sample what’s in season, and take home produce picked just hours before the market opens.
We’re open every Sunday from 8.30 AM to 12.30 PM at the Adelaide Showground, Wayville — just five minutes from the city. Entry and parking via Rose Terrace make your visit easy and convenient.
If you’re visiting from interstate or overseas, you can even become a Member for a Day to enjoy 10% off everything you buy. It’s the best way to shop like a local and support the people who feed South Australia.
Information Stand
Information Stand
Every Sunday during market hours, our Information Stand is open under the big verandah at the eastern end of the Stirling Angas Pavilion. Staff and volunteers are on hand to help with stallholder information, “Member for a Day” passes, Market Merchandise, Membership sign-ups and car park ticket collection.
If you’ve forgotten your bag or need something extra for your shop — a collapsible trolley, a spare basket, a chill bag or reusable produce bags — the Information Stand has a selection of practical items at reasonable prices, with even better prices for members.
If you’re an existing member and forget your card, simply pick up an “Oops, I forgot my card” sticker to use for the day. If you’re shopping with your partner, you can also collect a Partner Pass sticker for them to use that day.
