Find our Farmers’ Market at the Adelaide Showground, Wayville. The market is free to enter and is open as an essential service every Sunday, 8.30am - 12.30pm.
Entrance is via Rose Tce only.
The Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market is centrally located just a short drive or a few stops on a tram, train or bus from Adelaide CBD.
By public transport
- Train – From Adelaide Railway Station to the Goodwood or Showground Train Station is just a five minute ride. The Market is a short walk from both Goodwood and Showground stations. For timetable information visit the Adelaide Metro website.
- Tram – the Glenelg tram from the Adelaide CBD takes approximately eight minutes to reach the Goodwood Road Station, Stop 3. The Farmers’ Market is just a five minute walk from the tram stop. For timetable information visit the Adelaide Metro website.
- Bus – several bus routes service the Showground with stops on Goodwood Road within a five-minute walk of the market. For timetable information visit the Adelaide Metro website.
By bicycle
A sealed bike/pedestrian track runs to the Market from the Adelaide CBD, across the southern parklands and alongside the train line.
Bike racks are provided at the market entrance.
By car
Cars can enter the car park via Rose Tce.
The Leader Street entrance is for pedestrians and bicycles only but cars can park in the external Leader Street car parks and walk up to the market through the Showgrounds. The Rose Tce entrance is the closest parking to the Market pavilion.
There is on-site parking and some street parking on the nearby residential streets. The first half hour of parking at The Showgrounds is free, then it is $5 for up to two hours parking and $11 for all day Sunday Parking. Market members can also purchase annual parking passes.
