Pomology @ Tarrawood is run by Joel and his father, Peter Brockhoff. Together, they operate a diverse horticultural family farm in Lenswood, located in the Adelaide Hills. With a focus on sustainability, they grow apples, pears, lemons, avocados, kiwifruit, and cherries using minimal chemical input.

Joel and Peter pride themselves on growing delicious and nutritious fruit, cultivating 20 varieties of apples, including lesser-known types as well as popular Australian favourites like Pink Lady, Fuji, Royal Gala, and Granny Smith. They also grow 8 varieties of pears and the ever-popular Lisbon lemon, with some varieties available year-round.

In addition to their apple and pear offerings, Pomology @ Tarrawood provides fresh kiwifruit through winter, avocados over summer, and cherries around Christmas time.

Joel says, “We love attending the market every Sunday and being part of the Adelaide Farmers’ Market friendly and vibrant community.”
