Peninsula Providore Farm
Award-winning extra virgin olive oil, flavoured oils, table olives, and gourmet seasonings.
Peninsula Providore Farm is a family-owned, estate-grown producer from Currency Creek and Tooperang on the Fleurieu Peninsula, dedicated to creating premium extra virgin olive oil. With 17,000 olive trees across two groves, their boutique oils are carefully crafted into three distinct styles that showcase the region’s unique character.
As signatories to the Australian Olive Association’s OliveCare® program, they ensure their extra virgin olive oil meets the highest quality standards. Their range includes award-winning extra virgin olive oil, flavoured oils (lemon agrumato, basil, garlic, chilli, and truffle), mixed table olives, and a selection of gourmet seasonings like dukkah, garlic and herb salt, and za’atar.
With over 20 years of experience in the wine industry, Mel Hollick applies a winemaker’s attention to detail in crafting every batch of extra virgin olive oil. From harvesting and cold-pressing to blending, bottling, and labelling, every step is carefully managed to create an oil that reflects the unique character of their groves and the Fleurieu Peninsula. This small-batch approach ensures consistency, quality, and vibrant flavour in every drop.
Since releasing their first commercial product in 2018, Peninsula Providore has been recognised at the Royal Adelaide Show and the Fleurieu Olive Awards. Sustainability and collaboration are at the heart of their mission, working towards regenerative farming to nurture soil health, biodiversity, and water conservation.
Find them at the market outside on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
