Mount Moon Seedlings
Sustainably grown vegetable & herb seedlings.
Mount Moon Seedlings, based in Mount Compass on the Fleurieu Peninsula, is dedicated to sustainable growing practices. Specialising in vegetable and herb seedlings, they use soil blocks and compostable pots to minimise root disturbance, allowing plants to be planted directly into the soil for a strong start.
Committed to zero waste, Mount Moon Seedlings donates unsold plants to local market gardens, where they contribute to preserves and nutrient-rich produce for the community. They follow permaculture principles—Earth Care, People Care, and Fair Share—and aim to support aged care homes, schools, and community gardens by sharing their expertise in edible gardening.
You’ll find them outdoors at the market on the 4th Sunday of the month. Stop by to meet stallholder Brooklyn Mabbott and take home high-quality, organically grown seedlings for your garden.
