Method

  1. Place dried jujubes in a bowl and cover with warm water. Soak for 15–20 minutes until softened, then drain.
  2. Add softened jujubes to a blender with mixed berries, yoghurt, spinach, chia seeds and milk.
  3. For a classic version, add banana. For a Market Friendly option, replace banana with ½ ripe avocado or 2 tablespoons fresh ricotta.
  4. Blend on high until smooth, creamy and vibrant green.
  5. Taste and add honey if needed.
  6. For a colder smoothie, add a handful of ice and blend again until smooth.

Market Friendly Tip
Use regular milk and seasonal fruit from the market. Ricotta adds richness and protein, while avocado gives a smooth, creaminess.
