Method

  1. Add the OMGhee and honey to a small saucepan and warm gently over low heat until melted and glossy.

  2. Stir in the crushed cardamom pods and ground cardamom, if using.

  3. Bring to a gentle simmer, then add the sliced peaches.

  4. Cook for a few minutes, turning gently, until the peaches soften but still hold their shape.

  5. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

  6. Transfer to a clean jar and store in the fridge for up to one week.

Market Tip
Spoon over yoghurt, ricotta, pancakes or crepes, swirl through desserts, serve with cheese, or add alongside roasted meats where a touch of sweetness works beautifully. This is one of those jars you will keep finding new uses for.
