Add a splash of colour to your long-weekend market morning
For the Australia Day long weekend, Sparkles the Face Painter will be joining us inside the Market Pavilion with a selection of designs for kids and families. Aerial’s work is detailed and artistic, and she’ll have a few Australiana-inspired options alongside her usual favourites.
Face painting is available for a small fee, with sessions running 9 AM to 12 PM.
A bright little extra to enjoy while you pick up your weekly produce and soak up the long-weekend atmosphere at the market.

Enjoy the smooth, soulful sounds of Ebony + Dylan this Sunday at the Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market. With sultry vocals and an acoustic vibe, they’ll be performing familiar favourites from the 70s and 80s — the perfect soundtrack while you shop, grab a coffee, or relax on the grass outdoors. Although we provide a small retainer, Ebony + Dylan are busking, so please show your support while they play.

We’re welcoming a new busker to the market this Sunday, Adam Moffatt. He’ll be playing outdoors on Australia Day, bringing easy acoustic guitar and warm vocals to the morning. If you enjoy his music as you wander the stalls, please show your support and pop a few dollars in his case. It’s a simple way to back local talent while soaking up the market atmosphere.
