The 2026 Santos Wheelchair Rugby World Challenge returns to Adelaide from 23–26 April at the State Basketball Stadium, Wayville. See the Australian Steelers take on five of the world’s best teams: USA, Great Britain, Germany, Brazil and Denmark, in fast, physical, world-class competition.

In this week’s Members Newsletter (Wednesday 16 April), we’re giving away 10 double passes, with winners able to choose their preferred session across the event.

The Core Four

The String Quartet returns with a new generation. The Core Four, junior musicians from Concordia College, will perform three sets inside the market pavilion, bringing a fresh take on a familiar favourite. Featuring Jezzy (violin 1), Lewis (violin 2), Charles (viola) and Leon (cello), they follow in the footsteps of their older siblings from the much loved Contempo Quartet. Please support these emerging musicians by bringing along some cash for donations.

Kids Corner – Bee Hotel Workshop

To mark World Bee Day, Kids Corner is hosting a hands-on Bee Hotel workshop to help children learn how they can support Australia’s native bees right at home. As land is cleared for housing and development, natural nesting spaces for bees disappear. Around 30% of native Australian bees nest in existing cavities, and simple structures like bee hotels can provide a safe place for them to rest and raise their young.
