The Pop-Up Health Check Clinic returns to the market.

Flinders University’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences will be offering free health checks, including blood pressure, blood sugar and BMI, along with general health advice. The mobile clinic is staffed by qualified students under expert supervision and will be located in the Market Pavilion alongside St John.

Clinics will run on Sunday 26 April and Sunday 28 June from 8.30am to 12.30pm. These are the only two dates scheduled, with no further clinics planned until later in the year.

Acoustic at Market

We’re welcoming a new busker to the market this Sunday, Adam Moffatt. He’ll be playing outdoors, bringing easy acoustic guitar and warm vocals to the morning. If you enjoy his music as you wander the stalls, please show your support and pop a few dollars in his case. It’s a simple way to back local talent while soaking up the market atmosphere.

Join Helen from Arty Kid and our Market junior volunteers for a special Mother’s Day portrait session. Children are invited to create a painted portrait of Mum, Grandma or someone special using a photo as inspiration. Please bring a printed photo, or one on your phone, to paint from.
