Do your friends keep telling you to apply for MasterChef? This could be your sign.

The MasterChef casting team will be visiting the Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market this Sunday, so if you’ve ever wondered what it takes to step into the famous kitchen, pop by and have a chat. They’ll be inside the market pavilions and happy to answer questions about the application process for MasterChef 2027.

After the fantastic response they received at the market last year, the team is returning once again. In fact, we’re told a few people they met here went on to audition and made it very close to the final stages of the selection process.

Contestant applications are now open, with entries closing at 11.59pm on Sunday 9 August 2026. So if you’ve been thinking about applying, now is the perfect time to find out more and put your name forward.

And who knows? With Jamface’s own Poh Ling Yeow currently sitting on the judging panel, one day she could be judging you!
