Children joined us in making their very own butterfly puddling pond for their gardens.
Did you know that butterflies do not have teeth? They drink liquids, like nectar and water, through their proboscis. Butterflies can’t land on water, so they need to drink sitting on rocks in water or from muddy puddles. On Sunday 26 March we made our very own butterfly puddling pond to take home so the visiting butterflies in our garden could have a place to rest and drink.

The Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market Pop Up Market Series begins at Goodwood Primary School this Sunday as the Royal Adelaide Show takes over the Showground precinct.
