The Rotary Club of Adelaide Central will be back at the market this Sunday cooking up snags for a great cause.
All proceeds from the Community Connect Sausage Sizzle help support Rotary’s community work across both city and regional South Australia, including projects that assist local communities, families and farmers doing it tough through ongoing dry conditions.
Grab a sausage, enjoy the morning and help support the important work Rotary continues to do across our state.
Pack a yoga mat, towel, water bottle, blanket and some comfy clothes, and head to the market a little earlier this Sunday for a free morning yoga and meditation session with Dhyan Foundation Australia. Starting at 7.50am under the verandah near Patlin Gardens, this relaxed 40 minute session will include gentle movement, breathing and meditation, finishing in time for the market opening at 8.30am. Celebrate pollinators and the important role they play in our food system this Sunday, 25 May at the Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market. Wear a pop of yellow to show your support and join us for a morning of community awareness, local food and hands on fun for the kids. The String Quartet returns with a new generation. The Core Four, junior musicians from Concordia College, will perform three sets inside the market pavilion, bringing a fresh take on a familiar favourite. Featuring Jezzy (violin 1), Lewis (violin 2), Charles (viola) and Leon (cello), they follow in the footsteps of their older siblings from the much loved Contempo Quartet. Please support these emerging musicians by bringing along some cash for donations.
