Lakeview Acres Farm is a small family run farm in the Adelaide Hills, led by Melissa Gourlay and her family. Their journey began from a personal place. For many years they chose not to eat pork because they weren’t comfortable with how it was being produced. Instead, they decided to raise their own Berkshire x Duroc pigs using chemical free, regenerative farming practices so they could be confident the animals were raised properly and ethically.

What started as food for their own table quickly grew into a small family business, as others began looking for the same kind of locally raised, natural pork. Lakeview Acres offers a full range of fresh and cured pork cuts, mince and preservative free sausages made with quality ingredients and natural casings. When available, they also produce nitrite free bacon. As a small farm with a limited number of breeding sows, they focus on getting the balance right rather than overcommitting, ensuring quality remains their priority.

Lakeview Acres Farm attends the Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market monthly on the first Sunday of each month. They welcome pre orders and always encourage customers to stop for a chat, ask questions and learn more about where their food comes from.
