Always trying to teach your kids what goes in which bin at home or at the market? This activity helps make those everyday conversations easier.

To mark Global Recycling Day, Kids Corner is hosting a simple, hands on recycling activity for children. Kids will colour, cut and sort everyday items onto a large recycling bin poster, learning what happens to food scraps, paper, cans, glass and plastics after they’re recycled.

Led by Paulie and our market volunteers, this relaxed activity encourages children to learn alongside their parents or caregivers, with real repurposed items on the tables to help bring recycling to life.

Donations are welcome to support the program. Adult supervision is required at all times.
