SUMMARY:AG DAY SEED PLANTING ACTIVITY
DESCRIPTION:Join Paulie\, our wonderful\, colourful and fun volunteer from the Clare Valley\, in the Kids’ Club as we celebrate National Ag Day with a little planting and plenty of creativity! \nChildren will decorate their own egg carton\, plant and label their seeds\, then take them home to watch the magic of germination. It’s a lovely way to spark an interest in gardening\, discover where our food begins and nurture a love of growing. \nThis activity is completely free and runs from 10am to 11am at the eastern end of the Market Pavilion. No bookings needed\, just bring your little ones along and join the fun! \nDonations to support our workshops are appreciated\, and adult supervision is required for all children.

SUMMARY:Santa at the Market
DESCRIPTION:Santa is coming to the market\, with a little help from the South Australian Country Fire Service. \nThis year is particularly special\, with the participating CFS brigade celebrating its 20th anniversary\, just like the Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market. \nSanta will be available for free photos in our farmers’ market setting. Bring your own phone or camera and we will happily take the photo for you. Families\, friends and even pets are welcome\, provided pets meet our market entry requirements. \nCFS volunteers will be raising funds for the CFS Foundation\, which supports volunteer firefighters and their families when they are injured\, lose property or do not return home from the fireground. Please bring cash or make a tap and go donation if you can. \nThere will also be live entertainment\, face painting for a small fee and a fundraising sausage sizzle to enjoy while you are here. \nCome along for a joyful community morning\, support a very worthy cause and capture a special Christmas memory. Market entry is free. \nLearn more about the CFS Foundation
