Sheep's Milk Dairy

Established in 1848, Riverside farm has been in Ellen and Richard Chatterton’s family for six generations. The thousand acre mixed farm in the Barossa Valley is home to a flock of 40 Awassi sheep, lead by head sheep, Brownie.

The sheep’s milk dairy at Riverside is a labour of love. The high quality, creamy sheep’s milk produces delicious pot set yoghurt, haloumi, fetta and labneh. These premium artisanal products are all handmade using traditional methods in the tiny onsite dairy, truly a one man operation.
