Maggie Beer's exclusive produce from the original Pheasant Farm

South Australian food legend Maggie Beer brings her exclusive range of Maggie’s Orchard produce and Pheasant Farm wines to Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market every Sunday.

The Pheasant Farm is where it all began for Maggie Beer back in 1979. Maggie and Colin still own and work the property together with their family. Every Sunday Maggie sends a small range of “Maggie’s Orchard” grown and “Pheasant Farm” produced items to the Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market as a weekly stallholder. This is not the popular range found in supermarkets throughout the country but tiny batches of unique products from the Seasonal Kitchen in the original Pheasant Farm.

Maggie’s granddaughter Lilly runs the weekly stall inside the pavilion, but Maggie pops in regularly to lend a hand selling a range of goodies including:

Dried Pears
Apricot Jam
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Pheasant Farm Home Block Tempranillo
Pheasant Farm Mataro Grenache Shiraz
Frangipane Tart baked in the Seasonal Kitchen
Quince Vino Cotto

The offerings change seasonally as Maggie adds new handcrafted small batch items to the range. Find Maggie’s Orchard inside the pavilion every Sunday, next to the Saskia Beer Farm Produce stand.
