Our newest stallholder is Michael Wohlstadt of The Dairyman. Michael runs a traditional farm in the Barossa and brings a selection of his produce including butter and veal from his pastured animals. Find his stall in the outside market in the aisle nearest to the railway line and next to Mem’s Coffee van.
Nutritious and delicious nuts! New season, fresh, unsalted, organic pistachios are available from Graham and Annemarie of The Food Forest and Sally of Adelaide Hills Fresh Chestnuts is back with new season chestnuts.
Three new stalls will be joining the market from Sunday 30 April. Sweet potatoes will be on offer at the market for the first time. Peter & Ann Brooke of Barmera Vineyard Veggies are producers of sweet potatoes, garlic and peas from Barmera – you’ll find their stall opposite Patlins Gardens.
Greg & Kerrie of Two Hills & a Creek producers of olives, olives oils, pickles, and dukkha from Strathalbyn join the market and will attend fortnightly. You can find their stall in the outside market opposite Mem's Coffee Van. And Rebecca of Harrisons’ Honey – a local honey producer from Wasleys in the Mid North can be found next to Alnda Farms (located in the corner nearest the railway line and Leader St) and will attend fortnightly.
Aaron of River Finniss Organic Vegetables is now joining us weekly at the market with his certified organic vegetables. Aaron’s stall will be located centrally in the market next to Olympus Flowers.
Kuhl Kooking have made a number of changes and addititions to their breakfast menu. Their bruschetta features a seasonal change– now it’s delicious Organic sourdough topped with hummus, mixed roast vegetables, feta, fresh rocket and olive oil. Andrew and David have also added hot empanadas. Choose from Shredded chicken and chorizo empanada filled with shredded chicken, chorizo, tomato, green olive and spices served with chimichurri sauce. Beef empanada filled with ground beef, green olives, boiled egg and spices served with chimichurri sauce.
Albert – From the Grain has added to his yummy produce range - he now has spinach and ricotta cannelloni available, ready to heat & eat.
Pavlos Stone Fruit and Ekofruits have now finished their stonefruit season. They’ll be back again in Oct/Nov. Fat Goose Fruit will return in a few weeks when citrus season kicks in.
At the end of February Cosi and a Channel 9 film crew filmed an episode of South Aussie with Cosi as part of the I Choose SA Farmers' Market weekend at the market. South Aussie with Cosi is SA’s only travel show that has been running for over six years on Channel 9. Watch the show on Friday 5 May at 7.30pm on Channel 9.*

The new market trail is a kids’ hunt and activity trail encouraging children to visit stalls around the market to increase their knowledge of locally grown and produced fresh fruit, vegetables and food products.
